FOOD AND NUTRITION.

That research that discuss protein and other food substances and how the body assimilates them is nutrition.

To grow, reproduce, and maintain good health, human health, human beings need food.

Our body could not remain warm build or repair tissues or sustain a heartbeat without food. When sickness happens, consuming the right food, will help us prevent such diseases or heal faster. These diseases and their functions are fueled by nutrition called chemical substances in our food.

Carbohydrates, Proteins, fats and mineral vitamins and water are known as nutrients. The extremely complex processes that nutrients experience in the body how they affect each other how they are broken down released as energy and how they all transported and used to restore countless special tissues and sustain the individual our approximately but essential dietary choices need to made for the health of individual.

Nutrition guideline are issued by the world health organization and by individual countries as a guide to what constitutes a balanced diet.

Non essential nutrients are manufactured in the body and do not need to be obtained from food essential nutrients include water, carbohydrates, proteins fats, vitamins and minerals.

WATER.

Nutrition rank as the most important thing. A person can live without water for just eight to ten days although it takes week or even months to die from lack of food, water that circulate through our blood and lymphatic system transporting oxygen and nutrients to cells and removing waste through urine and sweat water.

Many foods are also a good source of water—

example

80 to 95 percent of water meat consist of 50 percent water, and grains such as oats and rice may contain up to 35 percent water.

CARBOHYDRATES.

Carbohydrates are the energy of human’s body key that produce 4 calories of energy per gram as carbohydrates are broken down glucose provided by sugar glucose is vital to help sustain tissues protein metabolize fat and fuel the glucose of the central nervous system is absorbed into the blood stream through the essential walls.

PROTEIN.

Proteins from both animals and plants sources are typically available of 20 amino acids that make up protein 8, it is considered necessary because the body is unable to synthesize them a the same time and other amino acids can not be used in whole or in part to metabolize human protein in particular amounts.

Therefore the maintain growth and health a diet containing these amino acids is very essential. The remaining amino acids are converted into energy producing compounds if any of essential amino acids are missing and their nitrogen is removed.

More proteins per kilo gram of body weight is also needed for infants and young children protein deficiency followed by energy deficits results in a type of marasmus called protein-energy malnutrition which is characterized by body fat loss and muscle wastage.

MINERALS.

Inorganic minerals nutrients are required in the structural composition of hard and soft body tissues.

These minerals nutrients all of which must be supplied in the diet are of two classes,

major elements as CALCIUM, PHOSPHORUS, MAGNESIUM, IRON, IODINE.

Trace elements such as COPPER, COBALT, MANGANESE, FLUORINE AND ZINC.

DEFINITION OF DIETARY.

The science of nutrition is still far from explaining how foods affect certain individual why some people can discontinue eating at a certain point and why others eat obsessively, example is still a mystery. Researchers have recently found that shortly after ingestion, foods influence the release of important brain chemicals and that carbohydrate foods in particular trigger the release of serotonin which, in tum suppresses the desire for carbohydrates . Such a mechanism might have evolved to prevent people from glutting themselves on carbohydrates and failing to procure harder-to-find protein.

Until recent times, carbohydrates foods were far more several amino acids, especially tryptophan all of which participate in monitoring the appetite for various foods. In this same area of research, nutrition experts are trying to unravel the relationship between diabetes and obesity and the role that sweets play for people with these conditions.
